In Western culture the ages 8-14 are quite pivotal for the child entering them. She is officially leaving behind the knowledgeable connection with the creator and is, by design, now fully incarnated into the physical body, the lowest frequency body of all the etheric bodies. The years from 8-14 are when additional transitions occur, at least in Western cultures, as one leaves childhood elementary school and enters Junior High with all of its hormonal challenges and then graduates into ninth grade, which signifies High School, the place where one gets serious about the looming future life plans.
It is a time of confusion, separation, alienation, and significant body changes. It began so beautifully with third and fourth grades, long considered the golden years of childhood as there was a beautiful balance of the little child innocence and wonder and the growing capacity to function as a reader and thinker with a significant personality already in place.
During the 1950’s and 60’s when I grew up there was an innocence and naivete that made the world feel and be safer. There was a gradual entry into the things and ways of the world so there was more time to enjoy that wonderful playground of life. With each successive generation that window of innocence has diminished allowing the ways of the world to infiltrate earlier and earlier. Until now, when very young children are exposed to information, experiences, music, visuals, that are far beyond their years. Childhood is becoming shorter and shorter. It will be interesting to see the collective impact this has in the days to come. Interesting to note that each successive generation comes in at a higher frequency with greater spiritual awareness and capacity to integrate more quickly with the Earth and the original design. Each arrives expecting the previous generation to have fulfilled its greater mission to raise the collective vibration. When they have not been supported to do that then the new generation stumbles and is seemingly caught in limbo for a time. (The indigo children came into initiating change and preparing the way for the crystal children who were to be the be the peaceful ones who inherited the changed and higher frequency world. That did not happen and so many were infused with the energies of both, the bringer of change and the peaceful ones…a recipe for significant challenge).
And this does not really even address the energetic impact of the hormones and the socio-cultural changes that are placed upon these beings who are mostly unprepared…due to the ignorance and unawareness of the previous generations and specific parents. This is such a Piscean progression as it served to create generations of worker bees who followed the common beliefs in the illusory and manipulative American Dream. In some ways all generations have been impacted by the tendency of the previous one to exert its company line and tradition on the next one setting the stage for one rebellion after another.
Energetically, during this 7 year cycle the throat chakra expands and the Third Eye chakra is activated over longer periods. The importance of these chakras in their capacity to make manifest one’s personal desires, life plan, and mission, may be underscored here by the nature of the design and the extended time for them to open up.
Throat Chakra Ages 6 ½ to 8 ½ years
Third Eye Chakra 8 ½ to 14 years
Remember that each chakra has a design frequency that indicates balance. Anything that compromises the frequency pulls that chakra out of center, thus interrupting the cosmic and internal comlink. Not only do we lose the purity of the connection but the stored energies begin to slow down the chakra rotation and move towards manifesting a condition.
The throat chakra is the major tool of expressing into action and manifestation. It is, as such, the window to the world for all the chakras. As the main release valve it translates the unexpressed into stored energy in the chakra thematic file system in conjunction with each chakra. The throat can only release when there is agreement/permission from the center. Thus, being in consistent communication with the chakras is highly valuable so that you are able to hear the callings.
The throat is impacted by all chakras and thus reflects the results of their blockages. It is simply the unexpressed energy tied to the debris. This center is one of the first to be actively compromised, typically by the parents, family, and community. Any fluidity in the other chakras will quickly run into the restriction and restore the moving energy back into its holding area.
Thus, the a blockage in the throat can result in self worth issues, the repressed expression of desires and personal truths, and compromise our perceived right to communicate needs and beliefs. Our forced silence isolates us. Frustrations, anger, fear, joy, sadness, grief will back up and restrict the flow of emotion. Our sense of autonomy and our capacity to establish a place in the world will be diverted into the body impacting our ability to engage life. A restricted throat chakra will also diminish our capacity for our own soul connection as we are not fluid in our giving out which can whitewash our willingness and capacity to receive.
Blocking of self expression is the greatest cost of the underdeveloped throat. We become hesitant, lack confidence, become a follower, learn to do as we are told, rarely speak our truth or make a stand. Our joyful expression is curtailed and our expressed creativity does not
