Additional Tools
- Breath: The vehicle upon which life rides. In all your moments, no matter the form turn to conscious breathing to soften the impact, energize, and expand in clarity. Use it especially when the child is experiencing emotional challenge.
- Sound: All sound has impact. Use your voice to make sound to release the energy of the moment. Words are useful but sound has no baggage. It expresses raw emotion. And that is a blessing. Let your child vocalize a lot.
- Belief: Monitor your beliefs for any that limit you. Chances are they have been kept in place by a spontaneous child hood decision. Observe to become aware of those that no longer serve you both.
- Choice: You always have a choice. Exercise that right. Choose and act and then adjust based on the results. You do have the right to change your mind. Make these choices with the child at your side.
- Observe: Be the Zen master and watch how life shows up. Respond rather than react. Responding is being in the flow. Get the big picture before taking any action. Much is below the surface of the moment. Your observations of the boy and emotions will help connect with the child self.
