What Do I
Feel?
FOCUS QUESTIONS

Incarnating into a unique dimension where one of the major draws is feelings and then learning quickly to not feel the feelings is what can be characterized as a cluster f***. What a gross manipulation of the design…and what a damaging blow to the full experience of the I Am Expressing As Me. Feelings enter the being via the back of the Sacral Chakra as a pure force. It is integrated in fluid expression  as one of the basic emotions: happy, sad, afraid, angry, and grieving. The feelings are the physical and visceral sensations and responses to the triggered wave of the emotional energy. The newborn feels and expresses for as long as he can before he learns to be normal. What is needed here is to learn one’s particular language of feeling, its sensation, its sounds, its typical locations, and how to consciously and successfully feel it to its release. And, remember, feelings are one of the vehicles for the child to make contact with the adult. And if that is turned off or denied and diminished, then the child we lose value and retreat into hiding and protection. So…let’s regain our connection with the primary element of the dimensional design, shall we?

  • Let’s start with fear, since this is one of the most prevailing washes over civilized culture, yet, the one that is least owned and talked about. Think of fear and notice where it show up in your body. What are the sensations? What are the impulses? What are the sounds that want to come out? Now let’s start making a list of the things and situations and people you have been or are afraid of. Fear fades when facts are faced. What we are doing here is turning the light of awareness on these particulars to start the fluid flowing to release the toxic debris that is festering in your tissue. Just listing them will go a long way in releasing them.

  • Now let’s look as anger. This emotion usually is a reaction to something happening to you or something being taken or withheld from you. It is a fast and strong emotion that moves quickly through the muscles like a wave of intense energy. It is very physical and needs to move. You feel it in a lot of your body but it starts in your upper belly, the solar plexus chakra, just below the rib cage. When you feel it you are working with your power and ability to take action. Learning to make friends with anger is important as it frees Make a list of what comes when you ask about anger within you. What brings up anger in you? Who and what are you angry about? This is a good start. We will look at what to do with it in another session.

  • This week we shall look at sadness. This is an emotion that is triggered in the heart and lungs when we experience disappointment and loss. It is kind of heavy and sometimes causes the breath to be a struggle. It is cleansed by letting it go with tears and sighs and sounds and words and songs. You can tap on the chest and loosen up the sadness you might carry. It is a finite energy that moves and cleanses with each tear released. Storing it may cause the heart to flutter and the lungs to fill up with fluid. Many people drown on the uncried tears of sadness. Start to discern what the sadness feels like and where it shows up in your body. Where do you store the losses you have had. Make a list of losses if you dare. Stand in each and invite the fluid to flow. Make sounds and wail or moan or use the ah sound to jump start the release.

  • Let’s focus on joy this week. What does that feel like to you. How do you know you are joyful? What does your body do? Where is the joy coming from in your body? What are the sounds it makes? We usually do not look at how we got happy, we just enjoy it. Let’s find some clues about being happy for you. You just might be able to make happy happen by doing some of the things that reflect happy in your body, like the sounds, or the actions, or focusing on the location…see what comes up. Have fun!

  • There is a feeling called numbness which is like the absence of any feeling. Some people are scared of it and some people think that is the way it is supposed to be. Have you ever felt this way? How was that for you? What did you do about it? If it happened now what would you do with it? What do you think it tells you or shows you? Make it up if you have to. Is there an area in your body where it seems more pronounced? Make a list of all the areas.
