Your body is your primary incarnational vehicle. It allows you to explore the many facets of this Earthly Dimension. It houses your energetic self, your cells, tissues, physical organs and systems, your emotions, your mental self of thoughts, beliefs and levels of consciousness, and your spiritual connection elements that interface with the higher frequency Cosmic ethers. Taking care of it on all levels is what gives you longevity and balance and ongoing health.
Etheric sources say that it is designed for over 900 years if taken care of and allowed to function as designed. And therein is the challenge…function as designed. Through familial and social programming and the collective thought form of “normal” one learns quickly to have a love hate relationship with the physical body. Finding fault and judging cause decay. The miraculous body is designed to respond directly to thought, belief, and current focus. It does as you tell it to. Your criticisms of the body are physicalized into form. The ever changing desirable body shape and fashion and beauty notions cause an ongoing confusion about what is “best”. Rather than appreciate it without hesitation we find fault and invite in issues that distract and expand to the point that the physical becomes compromised by thought and action.
Typically we stop taking care of it, being focused more on the ever changing appearance and seductive/damaging lure of being accepted by others. Placing value on how others see us is a recipe for ongoing inner chaos because that value is ever changing and delivered inconsistently and conditionally. One must learn to see the body differently…as the holy creation it is, as the perfect vehicle in and through which to embrace and experience the expanded Earth life and all that entails.
Self care on the physical level is your top priority moment by moment. It must be nurtured, celebrated, and provided for, without hesitation. Doing so will set the foundation for the rest of your design to function beautifully. Let’s look at some of the ways to provide personal self care:
Your personal self care is a primary responsibility of yours. Doing so will allow you to be fully present for your moments of living no matter what unfolds. It is not selfish. It puts you in balance to be able to show up as you in all your moments. SO do it. Ask your own body for guidance …and then do it. You will certainly thank you for it!
