The root chakra Fourth Ray vibration is overseen by the Ascended Master
Serapis Bey. Archangel Gabriel and his cohort, Hope, tend the chakra
frequency and characteristic components. The energy is dispensed into
the Earth Plane by Elohim Purity and Astrea. Each of these are receptive
to invitation and invocation. Songs for them as acknowledgement and to
invoke their celestial powers are valuable.

The hormone gland associated with the root is the adrenals.

It is located at the perineum and extends downward into the earth in a cone of vibration.

Body parts associated with it are the colon, the legs, the feet, the hips, the prostate, urinary tract, the bones.

It regulates issues having to do with survival, basic physical needs, and sense of value and self esteem. Shelter, food, clothing, finances, early abuses, work, addictions, and basic needs are areas that can impact or be impacted by a diminished root.

Changes in work, relationship, or family will tax this chakra. Uncertainty about finances, moving, changing jobs, losing friends, graduating, family changes, divorce, death, feeling unsupported or alone,  are often energetically impactful to the root. Traumas will shock the root and then move to include the second and third chakras, making them challenging to fully release.

The root chakra is in alignment with Earth energy and does well by being out in the natural world. Animal allies include the snake, the buffalo, the elephant and the bull.

Healthy root chakras are showcased in one who is solid in foundation, grounded in their power. They meet their own needs and , when necessary, are willing to ask for help. They adjust quickly to change and actually, embrace the adventure.

Indigenous chant and dance are particularly potent in addressing root chakra issues. Strong drum beats will pull the awareness into the soil and connect one with the power and the presence of the Great Mother.

The root is so important because it is the foundation. Clearing in this chakra will impact all of those above because compromises in the upper chakras are often based upon woundings in the root.

Some symptoms of imbalance include obesity, hemorrhoids, constipation, sciatica, degenerative arthritis, anorexia nervosa, knee troubles

Root Chakra Characteristics

Solid on the Earth my roots go down 3x
Down into the Earth my roots go down
Grounded, balanced, feel myself upon this earth
Fully in the moment
Feel it as the energy tingles my feet
Rising up to the heart of me
