Prayer

Historically, prayer has been seen and practiced in a variety of lights. Primarily a supplication of the Divine to assist or make the desired thing happen, the classic image of prayer is one on their knees begging for a way out. Yes, there are times when one feels hopeless in the onslaught of life’s forms of the moment, and accessing help fro the great Source seems like a wise thing to do.

In other ways, prayer seeks protection; it offers deal for new behaviors and choices; it beseeches that our enemies are destroyed or our side is championed; it is an athlete seeking the capacity to make the play; it is the empty recitation of a religious dogma that was never understood; it is the last resort, the first call, the new awareness, the suddenly found religion…on and on.

But to live in a conscious way that takes responsibility for thought, choice, and action to show up in the world as a high frequency being who is fully present to the forms of the moment in faith, trust, and celebration is an unfolding use of this “talking with God”. And to this end, the Sound Alchemist has opportunity to empower the spoken word with clarity of intention and action to open the two way communication between dimensions of human and spirit. In this knowing, the Alchemist can be a clarifying presence for a client, offering a knowing to substantiate a tool for living.

So, let’s examine some characteristics of this new breath of prayer.

Any of the above will create results. These elements indicate a knowing trust that delivers. It also implies the greater understanding of the majesty of life. It acknowledges that life is bigger than the seen, that there are forces available to assist, that we all, by design, are in contact with the cosmos.
