In the Silence, is a chant in English created at a youth conference. We needed a song to lead the teens into an extended silent time of reflection. As is often the case, the need creates the inspiration. Music and songs live in the dimensional ethers, in my opinion. The moment calls for me to reach in and grab the inspiration. It flows and becomes in the now. I will get these and do no rewrites as I know that they are exactly what will vibrationally, do the work necessary.
This chant has been used for many purposes since its creation. It has been used in church services as a lead in to meditation. It is easily sung and quickly sets the listener/singer in a receptive space. It has been used as a meditation chant, sung repeatedly as a vehicle to change thought patterns and shift brain waive states. It has been used in groups to shift the focus and the energy.
It is an invitation to enter the silence, a call for guidance and inspiration. It is in this receptive state where the Higher Self is contacted, where Love is embraced, where one rises above the forms of life into the sublime realm of higher perspective, where one hears the voice of the I AM That I Am. Go there often...sing this for your well being.
