Chant, Mantra, Intentional Song of the Week
12

This is a mantra that calls upon Ganesh to clear the obstacles on the path to your intention. Ganesh (sometimes spelled Ganesha, but usually pronounced "gah-nesh") is also known as Ganapati. Being the son of Parvati and Shiva, he is definitely a Tantric deity. Ganesh breaks obstacles by working around them.  Ganesh is a warrior, but is not into fighting for fighting's sake. Indeed, that is why he lost his head and it had to be replaced with the head of a elephant. Rather, He helps you find other ways of overcoming obstacles. The real obstacles He breaks are those which prevent you from recognizing alternative solutions.

Om (salutations), Gum (sacred power sound of Ganesh), Ganapataye (Another name for Ganesh), namaha (I bow/submit/honor this). In alignment with Vedic tradition this mantra is spoken 108 times over a bed of drone music. Typically one starts slow and speeds up as the mantra moves on. Speak it at least twice a day, preferably at the same times, for a total of 40 days to fully experience the remarkable capabilities of Ganesh to assist you.

Mantra has a power due to the collective intention of all the times spoken prior to this speaking. Use it with purpose and know that you are dealing with spiritual gold.
