Imagination and wonder are like an energetic muscle that must be exercised to expand its capacity and potential. They must be used repeatedly in a myriad of ways to activate their design fully. Moments of living and the accompanying forms are fertile ground for the imagination to play in. Holding the Celestial truism that nothing is as it seems throws open the curtains on restricted thinking and invites in the nuances that hint new directions, understandings, and experiences. Choosing anything different will lead down a brand new road…always.
A shift in perspective, a tilt of the head, a closing of the eyes, a long extended deep breath, a mantra spoken and felt, a moment of tuning into the body…all deliver infinite possibility. The doors of wonder are rattling to be opened again, beckoning to the heart and feet of the precious child to forget the all that has been to birth the new, the unexpected, the off the wall.
Use the senses more. Choose to focus on one at the expense of the others and see what is born there. Move back and forth by feeling one moment, seeing in another, listening in this one, smelling in that one, intuiting in the one that shows up next. Play…yes, play. For that is the primary vehicle that opens the door to ecstatic problem solving where the fantastic jumps out of the mundane. Expect the unexpected with anticipation, knowing that you just might get the next best thing for you and the world. Life cannot disappoint…unless we choose to make it so by being disappointed. The more open hearted and open eyed you are the more life has to share and reveal. The single eye misses the plethora on the simultaneous smorgasbord that accompanies any form. Pick and choose and see what happens when you do.
There is no ending, simply a journey of successive nows revealing the next direction. Choose again and see what happens. Find new uses for ordinary objects. Redesign the routine tools to make them better, more functional. Look at your own life and see what is stumbling. GO there and lay out a host of imagined solutions and directions and suggestions. Pick one and run whole heartedly into it waiting for the gift, the revelation, that will steer you. Be flexible, be spontaneous, be unafraid, be willing….take action without hesitation and celebrate the dead end because you can see the crack in the wall that hides the key beyond the obvious.
List your challenges. Create responses, at least 10 for whatever ails you. Roll the dice to get a number and then start with that one. See what happens…adjust when you reach the bump in the road. Call upon your child to assist you…to give five new ways to do this. High five one another and scream with the unexpressed sounds that have yearned for this moment to expel the passion of living just like this.
Becoming fluid in your faith and trust and willingness to grab the ring that reveals itself is the launch pad for going deeper into your learned routines, patterns, beliefs, and forms. This trust holds the loving arms that will ignite your seeking to find the home you remember. Life is a mystery that beckons you to live it, live it…life it is a wonder.
Do not ever sell your self short again, thinking that you are limited in any way. Reach in and reclaim the skill, the tool, the knowing and use it…as if you are the master…until you remember that it has always been there for you to apply to the form called forth by your own whole self. The old ways are falling apart, revealing the grand design from within. Seize the moment, the day, the infinite. It is the gift of your willingness to take the first step so long ago…
Ask what if a lot, as an invitation to something new, a new way, of being and doing and living. Ask for signs, clues, directions and then look only for the nuances for they contain the gold. The obvious is the great distraction, the diversion that so often takes you back to the cozy place that robbed you of your passion for so very long.
Open all the doors and shades and windows of all the houses you currently live in. Call for the singing monkeys to sweep in and do the celestial cleanse that will dispense with the outmoded, the routine, the misperceptions, the worn out, the hesitation, the clinging, the fear, the no’s…
Look at people differently. Look beyond what you know and see them with new eyes that reveal deeper substance than you knew before. Talk to the trees. Communicate with the animals and converse with the sky. Extend and expand the profound life connection we are designed to have with all that is of the Earth dimension. Ask the stars for guidance. Make up new constellations. Make a bucket list of celestial journeys and then book the dream state travel one night after the other. Have a talk with Source and set her straight about who you are now…own it and make an arrangement to have a smooth journey if you simply be your whole and true self in all your moments. Go to the ocean and put your past in stones and throw them into the water with a grand a glorious yahoo each time.
You get the picture. You are being invited to activate a whole new life free from the old drivel that painted you into corner after corner. When you have a challenge come up, dance out the solution. If an emotion takes hold of you sing a duet with it…a lengthy opera that ends with the poignant release. If you find your self doubting, take a walk with her and work it out.
