Chant, Mantra, Intentional Song of the Week
Archive 5-8

Gratitude is a powerful teacher. It is an energetic magnet, as well. Blessing is a witnessing of the Divine in that which you focus on. To give blessing is to be conscious of the holiness of all. Sending out blessings activates the Law of Attraction and brings, not only, more of the same to bless, but brings you abundance that reflects your attention. The reciprocal process flows through life. The more you choose to consciously use it, the more there is to bless. Giving produces receiving. And being open to receive is a mighty key.

In, Blessed Be, attention is given to the Earth, her creatures, the land, the elements, and the family of humanity. Generic blessings of this types open doors to a fuller experience of this dimension, Sing the chant all through the week and notice the results: brighter colors, animal visitations, deeper connections with life, and more pleasing interactions with whomever you meet. It is the law...enjoy this powerful process of witnessing Wholeness and deepening connections with all.

The Sanskrit language has been a powerful vibrational source of mantra for thousands of years. The phonemes align well with the chakras. The sounds elicit frequencies that reflect well, the intention of the specific mantra. In this case, Om Eim Hrim Klim...translates to mean “Om and salutations to she who is radiant with power and wisdom”. It is said that the mantra Om represents the primordial sound. Aim is the syllable of knowledge. Hrim is the syllable of purification and transformation, and dispels illusion and ignorance. It is the great mantra of the spiritual heart. Klim is a seed mantra that attracts spiritual energies from the sun god for protection. Chamundaye refers to a form of the goddess Paravati which is the destroyer of ignorance and evil. Vichche means cut, as in cutting one's egos.

Use this mantra for confidence and inner strength. It is useful for clearing attachments, especially to one’s patterns and ways of doing things out of habit. Use it when making change, moving in new directions, leaving the old, changing beliefs. Use it twice a day through the entire 108 sequence. It works...

We Circle Around from the CD, Chants
Native American spirituality has permeated our culture more than many want to admit. As Earth Day approaches and we send focused energy to our Mother, Gaia, we deepen the relationship with our life home. In these remarkable times of rapid vibrational change the Earth is also evolving. Her frequency raises as well due to the massive influx of benevolent love energy washing the planet. Her higher vibration causes the human inhabitants to feel the movement and urgency to shift and change. We are in a symbiotic relationship. The Earth will not die...it is man that will bring himself to extinction if greedy, self serving ways continue.  These are urgent times...and it is wise to turn to the Native Americans who had  proper relationship with the earth long before the white man claimed manifest destiny. So, we chant about the intimate relationship with Gaia. And we sing of our interconnectivity with all life. And, in so doing, we bless the Earth and allow the wings of Grace to bring about the shift and clarity in all that will lead to the paradise we deserve. Love is the only power that, through Grace, will save us to expand our mutual experience of full throttled living. Dance and activate the connection. Sing, and celebrate the magnificence of this precious Earth. This is the time...we circle around...the boundaries of the Earth...ah ho!
Gate Gate, from the CD,  Chants
From the Buddhist tradition comes a very essential mantra referred to as the Heart Sutra. The meaning is essentially that by letting go of your preconceived notions, opinions, and attachments, you can become open to all the wonders of our life. Translated: Gate means gone. Gone from suffering to the liberation of suffering. Gone from forgetfulness to mindfulness. Gone from duality into non-duality.  Gate gate means gone, gone. Paragate means gone all the way to the other shore. So this mantra is said in a very strong way. Gone, gone, gone all the way over.  In Parasamgate sam means everyone, the sangha, the entire community of beings. Everyone gone over to the other shore. Bodhi is the light inside, enlightenment, or awakening. You see it and the vision of reality liberates you. And svaha is a cry of joy or excitement, like "Welcome!" or "Hallelujah!" "Gone, gone, gone all the way over, everyone gone to the other shore, enlightenment, svaha !"

Use this chant/mantra this week to release the old vibrations and open the heart chakra to a new higher frequency of living in the Now, unencumbered by the past  lower energies of experience. Sing it to maintain and expand in your moments of living. Go now, far beyond what was thought to be. More is what you are...
