When the first pictures of the Earth from space were seen the brilliant blues was startlingly beautiful. All that water. The magical mix of one oxygen and 2 hydrogen molecules is the basis of life as we know it. What an incredible creation! We are mostly water, fluid in motion. Water sustains us on all levels. It is an energetic cleanser, a source of life, a visual delight, and so refreshing on a hot day. Running water serenades us with a sound that brings peace and inner reflection and softens the hard edges of life. Standing near a river is an instant calming experience. Feeling the rain fall on your face is a pure delight. To stand in a deluge is as fun now as it was when I was a boy.
And to think that the rain and the water comes from those puffy designs in the sky. Amazing. The water cycle is a master creation…self serving and repeating process that utilizes the sun to evaporate water to make the clouds which then drop the water back on the land to flow to the sea. Who put this thing together? And to see how water creates such sculptures on the surface of the planet, an ever changing panorama of design that is a joy to behold. Ever watch a small stream move the particles of the earth along in the journey to the sea? It is repeated in large rivers. The dance of moving particles propelled by the onrushing water that flows because of the pull of gravity. I love to watch it.
And then there is the ocean…in a symbiotic dance with the moon, the tides rise and fall. Waves pepper the shoreline in a musical rhythm as constant as the sun’s rise and fall. Waves, each one unique in expression, caress and carve and serenade the shoreline with the salt water that directly reflects the chemical composition of our own bloodstream. What magical connections. Notice how you feel when near the ocean. Calm and reflective…like coming home.
And because it is truly the source of life, its presence in an area directly impacts the way life shows up. Look at the cooperation and truce that occurs at the African water hole. The animals gather to sustain life and cooperate with one another, hunter and prey. A beautiful pause in the game of life. Notice the vegetation. Look how cacti have adapted to insure enough water for survival. Look at the creatures who live in the water, adapting to extract the oxygen need to survive. The magnificence of the design keep showing up. An essential gift of the creator. Every creature requires it. Make peace with water and get to know it intimately by being conscious around it. Explore the work Of Emoto that proves the impact of thought on the vibration and health of water molecules. Think what our thoughts are doing to our own bodies of water. Stop it. Love the water!
