They gave you everything that you need

to stay centered    and in the know

These days it’s a small small world  everybody’s got their take
They drivel this and they snivel that it’s entertainment the news is fake
The owner tells what side they’re on and they fabricate the daily spin
Influencers of public perception the business these corporates are in

          Distraction  it’s all a distraction
          They are Agents  Agents of Mass Distraction

Used to be a Democracy innocent till you’re proven with guilt
Nowadays the lie is spewed and public opinion is massaged and built
Guilty in the eyes of the common man
who’s learned to follow the talking head’s line
With justice passé and the story as king
Agendas are the bottom line

 Distraction  it’s all a distraction
 They are Agents  Agents of Mass Distraction

Our isolation has revealed the wolf in the clothing of the sheep at last
The Internet has leveled the field
And Truth is sent before the spin’s cast
People are telling what the machine won’t share
You can smell the honesty in the air
Manipulation games going up in smoke
It’s a time of mass change I declare

 Hmmm no distractions
 You got a heart you got a mind…use them
 Run everything through them both
 before you choose them
 Trust  build your trust
 Cause nothing’s as it seems….nothing is as it seems
